Nguyen Ly Phuong Ngoc is originally from Ho Chi Minh City. Ngoc has traveled extensively throughout her native Vietnam, living alongside farmers, opera troupes and other eclectic characters you can find in her art. Ngoc's first solo exhibition Chân dung mộng mị (Portraits of Dreaming, HCMC Fine Arts Committee,2010) received national acclaim in Vietnam. She spends her time between Ho Chi Minh City and Seattle.

March 2014 Show - Greenwood Art Walk
This is my first large solo showing in the U.S. I am lucky
to work with some great people at A-1 Piano Sales & Rentals in Seattle’s
Greenwood neighborhood. Great wall space, environment, and music all around for
my opening. Above all, that awesome feeling you get…It’s tough to be an artist,
but when people recognize you from your art and find meaning in it – that’s
